    Some Tilley hats are Guaranteed for Life against normal wear and tear, imperfect workmanship, or faulty material. If your hat experiences any of these issues, please submit your request by selecting and completing the “Guaranteed for Life” form below. Next steps will be provided within 5-7 business days.

    TERMS & CONDITIONS

    Only hats with the designated “Guaranteed for Life” label will be considered for replacement. Customers must provide photos to identify the eligibility of the item, as well as proof of destruction of the item upon request once approval is granted. All qualifying replacements are subject to a non-waivable handling fee.

    Note: Tilley Endurables only accepts Guaranteed for Life requests through Tilley.com. Any requests submitted outside of the electronic portal will not be accepted. Should you have any questions, please contact the Tilley Customer Service Department by email. 

    Packages sent without prior authorisation will be refused and returned to sender at the shipper’s cost. Processing times may vary due to increased volumes in peak seasons and are contingent on the provision of all required information from the customer. Requests will not be shipped until all requirements are met by the customer. Tilley will not be held responsible or liable for any lost or stolen packages in transit. Please contact your carrier to settle any shipping issues.

    Tilley reserves the right to determine if an item qualifies for replacement under the Guaranteed for Life policy.

    Tilley Return Policy

    If you wish to return an order that includes a gift with purchase, you will need to return both the item that you paid for along with the gift to be eligible for a full refund. In the event the gift is not returned its value will be deducted from your refund.

    Tilley offers refunds on new, unwashed, unworn, items within 30 days of the date of purchase. Items must be in their original state with tags attached and packaging.

    Tilley will provide a FREE return shipping label to customers within the UK for all returns.

    Please note that we no longer offer exchanges as a return option.

    Please note that items labeled as Last Chance can still be returned. 

    Original Payment Method: a refund will always be processed back to the original method of payment.

    Holiday season: Items purchased any time between 1st November - 31st December can be returned until 15th January . Refunds will be issued via the original method of payment.

    RETURNS – How To Return an item shipped within the UK

    Requesting a return is quick and simple, you just need your Tilley order number and post code!

    We have provided a step-by-step guide below to show you how to complete a return.

    STEP 1 – Request your Return.

    • Locate your Tilley order number (Looks like this: UK#####)
      • You should find this in either your order confirmation or shipment email.
      • If you placed your order using your Tilley account, you can also find it in the “Order history” section.
    • Click on the “SUBMIT RETURN” button Below.
    • Enter the Order number and the delivery Postal code and click “START A RETURN”.

    STEP 2 – Select the Item(s) to return

    • Click on the item you want to return.
      • Eligible items will appear in white
      • Ineligible items will be greyed out
    • Select the Reason you wish to return the item. Based on the reason, you may be requested to provide more information.
    • Repeat this step for all items from this order you wish to return.
      • Note: items from different orders will need to be returned on separate requests.

    STEP 3 – Review your Request and Submit.

    • If you are happy with your return request, click “SUBMIT RETURN
    • You will receive a confirmation email shortly thereafter along with your free returns shipping label and a QR code.
    • Print the label and attach it to your package. You will now have 28 days to drop off your package at your Local Post Office. If you are unable to print the label, show the QR code to the Post office who can print the label for you.

    RETURNS – How To Return an item shipped outside the UK

    We are currently unable to offer returns via our portal to shipments despatched to overseas addresses.

    • To initiate a return please email info@tilley-uk.com quoting your original order number (which will be in the format UK#####). You can find this in either your order confirmation or shipment email, or, if you placed your order using your Tilley account, you can also find it in the “Order History” section.
    • In your email, please confirm the items you would like to return along with the reason for their return and one of our Customer Service Advisors will be happy to advise you of your next steps.

    You are responsible for any postage charges relating to your return.

    Please note you may incur additional customs fees during your returns process so check with your local customs office before placing an order to see how this might impact any return you may need to make to Tilley in the future.

    Once your package has been successfully delivered to our warehouse, please allow up to 10 working days for your return to be processed. Once processed you will then receive a confirmation email along with your refund. Please allow up to 10 working days after your refund has been processed for funds to appear back in the original account.

      Excellent Customer Service and Return Policy

      I wanted to say thank you to Tilley for an easy and seamless return of this hat that didn't fit me well. The hat is clearly excellent quality, but just not a good fit for me, and I returned it. Tilley's return policy is absolutely fair, and I wanted to acknowledge this for anyone who was considering buying from Tilley and wondering if they stand behind what they sell, including customer service. They do.

      Next Step: The perfect hat for a Canadian gentleman walking to Santiago...

      The LTM8 Airflo in white is (I believe) the ninth Tilley hat I've owned over these many years* and is one of four currently serving. It is so close to my idea of perfection that I entirely trust you to make the next step: a hat that combines this full mesh crown with a broad brim.

      * Unless I'm mistaken, at the time I bought my first, it was THE Tilley Hat, the only model you made.

      Long lead time on delivery (ordered 28th June, dispatched 9th July, delivered via Royal Mail 11th July) but the product was worth the wait. Great hat! Just be wary of the delivery time if you're ordering for a specific event, holiday, etc.

      Definitely order a couple of cm above your measured head circumference though, especially if your head is deeper than it is wider like mine. I'd previously bought one that matched my measured circumference exactly and it was like having my head constantly squeezed at the front and back despite there being gaps at the side.

      The one a few cm up is SO much more comfortable and still tight enough at the front and back that its not going to fall off unless there's a really big gust of wind (but that's what chin strap is for)

      Freaking Awesome

      Want to start off by saying I've had this hat for about 10 years. Still looks as good as the day I got it it's been through a lot. It's been all kind of sporting events from football to soccer ,baseball ,softball , and all kind of festivals. I wear it when I'm out down the tractor mowing doing some Bush Hog in the front pasture feels so good when the wind blowing through the mesh cooling your head. I'm amazed this thing been in southern thunderstorms in the rain don't come through that mesh! I don't know how they do it but I'm tell you I love the heck out this hat. Thank all y'all you got a fantastic product I look forward to getting me that green one.
